The Redbird FMX is a revolutionary, full-motion, Advanced Aviation Training Device (AATD) that is FAA, part 141 approved. The Redbird can be configured for multiple airplane cockpits including G1000 and multi-engine. With greater than 200° visibility, courtesy of wrap-around screens, the Redbird is capable of stunning visuals to enhance the realism of the simulation. This versatile simulator is integrated into our training programs for both Sterling Flight Training and Airline Training Solutions. Domestic and international students can greatly benefit from the use of integrated simulator training by reducing the cost and duration of the course.
The Redbird is not only extremely beneficial for initial and accelerated courses but also recurrent training. It is FAA approved for Instrument Currency and Instrument Proficiency Checks (except circle-to-land). Current cockpit configurations include the Cessna 172SP G1000 and the Piper Seminole equipped with a Garmin 530/430 stack.
