Meet the Sterling Flight Maintenance Crew
Hayden Malone, a University of Central Florida graduate, oversees Malone AirCharter, Inc.’s aircraft maintenance department and holds it to highest of standards. He is an Airframe and Powerplant Mechanic holding an Inspection Authorization from the Federal Aviation Administration. Hayden is a highly trained commercial pilot, and a U. S. Air Force Vietnam veteran, having served as a crew chief and flight engineer on the C-141-B cargo aircraft. He is an adjunct professor at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and helped design and construct Malone AirCharter’s beautiful new 20,000 square foot building at Craig Airport. Even since retirement from full-time work, Hayden is still an integral part of the company.
Robert is a veteran of the US Air Force working as an aircraft mechanic. Robert came to Sterling in 2005 as a line mechanic. After receiving his Inspection Authorization rating shortly thereafter, Rob attended training for the Citation 560 series and Beechcraft Super King Air. Robert now serves as the Director of Maintenance and continues to help maintain a truly outstanding fleet of aircraft.
Ryan is a veteran of the US Navy as a SAR crewmember on the H-46. He was also trained as a mechanic in the Navy and upon leaving, was able to convert his military ratings to the civilian world. Ryan previously worked with L3 International on Learjets for the US Government. Ryan also has qualifications on Rotax and Robinson equipment and is a very experienced mechanic.
Jarrod attended Liberty University’s part 147 Maintenance Program and is currently nearing completion of his Aviation Management degree. Jarrod completed the maintenance program at Liberty before transferring to Jacksonville to begin work. Jarrod is very talented and is a testament to the quality of the Liberty University program.
